HI, I'M NISHANT!
As a self-taught artist, I tried many different ways to learn how to draw people, but nothing really clicked. Life drawing sessions required more patience than I had; drawing from reference photos quickly became repetitive, and realism was never what I was aiming for. I always wanted to draw like my favorite cartoonists, something expressive, personal, and effortless, while still feeling like my own style.
Everything changed when I started taking my sketchbook outdoors and drawing people in cafés. I began sketching quickly before my subjects moved away or noticed me, turning it into a fun daily practice driven by curiosity. Over the past 3 years, I’ve taught more than 1000 students through online workshops, and this course was created to help others build stronger observation skills and develop a drawing style that feels natural and uniquely theirs.
